This Week's Comics

A quick selection of stand out titles arriving in comic stores this Thursday:

INCOGNITO #4 by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips

The continuation of Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips' super powered crime/noir comic. As always this is likely to be a good solid read, and should sustain you until the next issues of Criminal drops.

SLEEPER SEASON 1 TP by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips

The series that paved the way for both Criminal and Incognito. A gritty, page turning espionage thriller with extra added superhumans. Plus, some of the funniest origin stories committed to paper. I really can’t recommend this enough. Do give it a look if don’t already own it.

PHONOGRAM 2 #3 (OF 7) SINGLES CLUB by Kieron Gillen and Jamie McKelvie

Got to admit I missed the boat on the first Phonogram series but this has been utterly wonderful so far. Done in one stories that are beginning to add up to something more, replete with razor sharp dialogue and sly pop culture references. Hell, they even managed to squeeze Diamanda Galas in there last time. The ultimate comic for music fans!

What’s on your pull list this week?
